Cultural Programme

The Nursery programme is uniquely designed to cater for children from age 3 – 5 years. The programme provides a happy environment in which children can build their confidence and independence and develop positive attitudes towards other children, the teaching staff and to learning generally.

Each child is is encouraged to use his/her initiative and to put to constructive use, ideas and abilities. Each child also has the opportunity to develop cognitive and perceptive skills and also acquire appropriate general knowledge.

The programme is developmentally designed to meet the specific needs and challenges of each individual child. It runs on traditional open lines of indoor and outdoor activities, group activities including stories, discussions, audio class, language club, debating and dramatic clubs.

Nursery Programme has particular focus on:

The Nursery programme emphasises much on oral and written communication to ensure the development of the student. Each week is an alphabet familiarisation programme which focuses on phonetic sounds or letters of alphabet. It has specialised skills in:

  • Fine Art
  • Nature Walk
  • Use of Library
  • Moulding and Painting
  • French
  • Perceptual Motor Programme
  • Practical Mathematics.
