  • The World Health Day is observed according to United Nations’ calendar for each year. On this day, each child is expected to participate. The program is an initiative of The World Health Organisation designed to create health awareness, and also educate people on what is expected of them in terms of health care and healthy living. In line with W.H.O’s idea, the school organizes health informative and educative campaigns to inculcate in the general community the importance of healthy living.
  •  The Day of African Child commemorates the day in which thousands of black children took to the streets of Soweto, South Africa. In a march more than a mile long, they protested the inferior quality of education and demanded their right to be taught in their own language. Hundreds of young boys and girls were shot down by security forces. In two weeks of protest that followed, more than a hundred people were killed and more than a thousand were injured. To honour the memory of those killed and the courage of all those who marched, the Day of the African Child is been celebrated on 16 June every year since 1991, when it was first initiated by the Organization of African Unity (now the African Union). The Day also draws attention to the lives of African Children today. In line with this initiative, the school observes the Day of African Child annually in June 16. Pupils and parents/guardians alike are taught the importance of quality education and the need to be responsive learners.
  •  Community Reach-Out /Christmas Kindness is a special activity of the school geared at reaching out to indigent and vulnerable children (the so called “street children”) in the community. It aims at inculcating in pupils the social need to be caring and loving. The pupils are expected on this day to come along with gift items to share with their neighbours within and without the community.
  • Graduation Ceremony comes up annually towards the end of each academic session. It is designed to celebrate the graduating pupils from day care to nursery, from nursery 3 to Primary 1 and from Power Point(Primary School Exam Class) to Secondary School. It is without doubt that the pupils at these various cadres deserve all the accolades they can get for achieving various feats in their academic pursuit.
