Culture: His Majesty, Eze A.E Chukwuemeka Eri Ezeora the 34th, Akaji Ofor Eri, Speaks on Culture

His Majesty, Eze A.E Chukwuemeka Eri Ezeora the 34th, United Nations Ambassador of Peace in his special Guest visit to Irene Menakaya School during the 2012 Day of African Child celebration spoke on his vision on Back to Our Culture on Education for the Igbo race.

He lamented on the derailment on Igbo language by our leaders and noted that Igbo language is a language every Igbo must be proud of. His Majesty commended Irene Menakaya School on their efforts to expose the children at the tender age to Igbo Culture. He pointed on the dressing, dancing, traditional competition into manhood in Igbo culture through wrestling, traditional food served at the event as a positive course on educating our children on Igbo Culture.

His Majesty emphasized that teaching and Learning should be rooted in our culture at an early education .His Majesty who is also the United Nations Ambassador for peace decreed that His Cabinet in Enugwu Aguleri in Anambra East Local government of Anambra State will continue to support Irene Menakaya School program on Culture and Education.

The School Board of Governors has established “His Majesty Chukwuemeka Eri Cultural Literacy Program” to immortalize his commitment in promoting Igbo Culture from early His Majesty’s Honor.
